The DANCE MEETS SPORT showcase hosted by Oulder Hill Community School and Spiral Dance is quickly approaching!

Thirteen different local dance companies have worked hard to produce short choreographies based around the Cultural Olympiad. Covering a range of ideas from the torch relay to teamwork, each group has produced a unique interpretation of an aspect of the Olympics and Paralympics. The showcase includes performers of all ages and abilities, exploring who can dance, why people dance and what dance is. Come along and start your Olympic journey! Can you work out the theme of each dance?

Performing groups include: Quantized Dance Company, Company Flex, Unite Dance Company, Lancashire Belles, Spiral Dance Littleborough, Spiral Dance Chadderton, Bury Catholic Preparatory School, Company Class, Moves Dance Company, Mix(In)Tense, Castleton Primary School, Bury Youth Dance Company and Saddleworth Ballet Academy.
